The second nuclear Citizens’ Jury was one of the biggest to gather anywhere in the world. More than 350 randomly selected South Australians, including 295 from metropolitan Adelaide and 73 from regional and remote SA met at the Adelaide Convention Centre for six days of deliberations.

They heard from a range of opinion leaders and expert witnesses to answer the question: ‘Under what circumstances, if any, could South Australia pursue the opportunity to store and dispose of nuclear waste from other countries?’

The jury sat on October 8-9, October 29-30 and November 5-6. All open sessions were livestreamed here, in addition to regular updates on Facebook and Twitter.
